Israel • Palestine
I never imagined that when I applied for Quest Israel-Palestine that I would be introduced to a group of people who were so intelligent, compassionate, and so eager to make a positive change in the world! The Crossing opened my eyes to aspects of social justice that I felt were sadly overlooked in mainline Christianity, and it was a delight to be introduced to this way of life.
- Nikki Carow, Quest IP 2009

Quest IP was the first Quest trip. It was created to involve UW students in the reality of our world, provide them with an opportunity to visit a historical region, and explore issues of conflict and conflict resolution. Students visited a school that serves Jew, Christian, Druze, and Muslim children outside of the Galileean village of Ibillin. The founder of the school, Archbisop Elias Chacour, has been nominated 3 times for the Nobel Peace Prize.

There have been a total of four Quests to Israel-Palestine, and we're aiming to make that number five in the year 2011. Quest: IP 2011 is still in the works. If you're interested in leading a team or participating in this Quest or any others, please feel free to contact us and we can get you more information!
