| Is Quest For You? |
|
Quest Students are UW-Madison students and well-qualified students from nearby schools. Quest Students are interested in challenging themselves in a new place with new people, and spending time reflecting on and learning about their place in the world. Quest Students are adaptable to unexpected situations in far-off places, and have to cooperate with others in order to make the best of every situation. Quest Students are from a variety of spiritual and cultural backgrounds, listen compassionately to different opinions, and are committed to helping fellow travelers grow and have fun. Quest Students are “full of life” and eagerly embrace opportunities to learn, grow, help others, and have fun. Quest Students may be world-travelers, or have never been far from home. Some are grad students, others freshman. Some have spent years pondering their spirituality, and others haven’t given it a second thought…yet. Some have been a part of many groups, and others spend their time alone. We see diversity as a sign of strength within a group, and an opportunity for students to learn from each other. How do I decide which Quest best fits my interests? Do Quests require a certain religious background?
